The terms that apply when you use our repair services. Last updated 30 May 2026.
These terms govern the repair services Repair Pro (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides to you (“you”, the “customer”) at Shop 10/450 Nepean Hwy, Chelsea VIC 3196. By leaving a device with us for assessment or repair, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which always apply.
We are an independent business providing in-store, in-person repair of device hardware — such as screens, batteries, charging ports and cameras — for phones, tablets, computers, wearables and consoles. We do not provide remote technical support, phone unlocking, jailbreaking, account recovery, bypassing of security locks, or software modification services.
We provide a fixed quote before beginning any chargeable work. The quoted price is the price you pay for the agreed repair. If, after opening a device, we find an additional or different fault, we will stop and contact you with a revised quote for your approval before continuing. Quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise.
By leaving your device with us and approving a quote, you confirm that you are the owner of the device or are authorised to have it repaired, and you authorise us to carry out the agreed repair, including any disassembly and testing reasonably required.
You are responsible for backing up your own data. Please back up your device and remove or sign out of sensitive accounts before your appointment. While we take care with every device, repairs can in rare cases result in data loss, and we cannot guarantee the preservation of data. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of data. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle information on your device.
Some faults — particularly liquid damage and intermittent faults — cannot be fully diagnosed until a device is opened, and a successful outcome cannot always be guaranteed. We will always tell you honestly what we find. We fit new, OEM-grade replacement parts. Replaced parts may be retained or disposed of by us unless you ask to keep them at drop-off. A diagnostic or assessment fee may apply where disclosed in advance.
Payment is due on completion, before collection of the device, unless we agree otherwise in writing. We accept the payment methods displayed in-store. A deposit may be required for special-order parts.
Please collect your device promptly once we notify you it is ready. Devices left uncollected may be subject to reasonable storage arrangements and, after an extended period and written notice, may be dealt with as uncollected goods in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading Act 2012 (Vic). We are not liable for devices left uncollected beyond a reasonable period.
Our repairs are backed by a 12-month workmanship warranty. Full warranty terms, what is and isn't covered, and how to make a claim are set out on our Warranty page. These are in addition to — and do not limit — the consumer guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law. See also our Returns & Refunds page.
To the extent permitted by law, and subject to the consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded, our liability for any repair is limited to re-performing the repair or refunding the price paid for it. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, faults unrelated to the repair we performed, or indirect or consequential loss.
Repair Pro is an independent repair business. We are not an authorised service provider for, and are not affiliated with, Apple, Samsung, Google or any other brand. Product names and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used only to describe the devices we service.
